It all started in 2016.

At the time, I was living in a small apartment in Nørrebro and had just returned home from yoga teacher training in Goa, India and Bali. I had always struggled with eczema and sensitive skin, and started wondering: Is there anything In can do to protect my skin?

That was the starting point. From then on, my living room floor was covered with bottles of herbs and oils. This was where I blended the oils for the first time, experimented with countless combinations, and eventually found myself holding my very first oil.

My idea was, and still is, simple: If our skin is our largest organ, why don't we treat it the same way we treat the rest of our body? We eat nourishing food and avoid unnecessary chemicals, so why shouldn't our skin deserve the same? I wanted to create skincare you could, in principle, eat. An oil that gave the skin pure nourishment, without unnecessary ingredients and without compromise.

And it quickly became clear that I wasn't the only one looking for something like this. Friends and acquaintances started asking for it, then people I had never even met began stopping by my door to pick up an oil. I kept track of orders on a notepad with little bags labelled with names, and people simply left the money under the doormat 😅 That trust and sense of community still mean so much to me today ♥️

But the journey didn't stop there. It took several years to find exactly the right manufacturer – and perhaps also to find the confidence to believe that there really was room for my oil on the market.

I've always felt that skincare should be affordable. The products I personally liked were far too expensive. You saved them for special occasions, and then they expired. That's why my face oil comes in a generous 50 ml bottle, so you can use it every day and experience what it can really do.
